Hi guys, If you missed it, it was our last Fleet Race for the 2009 season. The weather was absolutely perfect, 8 to 10 knots of breeze, not to much chop and 79 degrees. Our race committee Terry Bishop and Vicki Vaught did and outstanding job setting the weather mark and start and finish line. The wind stayed fairly steady from 200-215 degrees. With 6 boats we had 3 races all twice around, with the last race finishing down the channel with full spinnakers off the club. Back at the club Kelly had set up a beer and wine tub and some tasty appetizers.

We have anew Fleet 18 Captain and his name is Jerry Montgomery. Jerry volunteered to be our 2010 Fleet Captain, thanks Jerry and to stay on as Fleet Treasure will be Gordon Dudley, thanks Gordon. October will be the fleet captains meeting to set up all of our 2010 Fleet races, if you would like to give any input call Jerry. Lets make 2010 a great sailing season for our Fleet. Last but not least thanks for having me as your Fleet 18 Captain for the last 2-years, it has been great.
